AnswerThe Newton's third law of motion states that action and reaction are equal and opposite. You are able to work because there is a force that pushes you forward when you press against the surface of the earth. Friction is the force that exists between the foot and the ground, and makes it possible for you to walk. Without friction, one slide out and no movement can take place.
