There are many reasons for getting a master's degree. There are many reasons not to get a master's degree. If you require a higher level of promotion, be regarded as an expert in the field or if you want a specialty, and then master's degree is what you need. What I want to say with a degree, a career can be, for example, in anthropology. And then you feel like in the field of teaching English as a second language, but also work in school or have influence on the curriculum, and then a master's in TESL fits the bill. If your bachelor's degree in accounting and you want to become a CPA, nor the extent to which a teacher is really necessary. You just need to answer the question, what I want to do? And then do it.
