The Marshall Plan, invented after the second world war, by the united states of America, General George Marshall, was an attempt to reconstruct the world and make life better for everyone and try to make life notrmal again. Was used in Western Europe. Offered to Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, but the Communists were rejected, because they hated the united states therefore, they do not want foreign aid from them. For Western Europe largely prospered, and the eastern Europe has suffered. Gen. Marshall received the Nobel peace Prize for his Marshall Plan. The NATO consists of countries from Western Europe, just in the Warsaw Pact is made up of nations of eastern europe.
