Non-point sources of pollution (NPS) pollution is caused by rainfall or snowmelt. This water moves over and through the ground picks up and carries natural and human-made pollutants and deposits them in lakes, rivers, wetlands, coastal waters and groundwater.Point source pollution on the other hand is a source of pollution from which pollutants are discharged (pipe, ditch, ship ..). NPS is more harmful than point source pollution because it is difficult to be regultaed. (Solution B).
