The answer is the second and the third answers. Kingdom Protista is a polyphyletic taxon, which means that it has not evolved from a common ancestor, unlike what is seen of a taxon monophyletic. Because they come from different ancestors, which shares more similarities with other organisms of other kingdoms, but they themselves.
