Who knows? Shakespeare doesn't say so. She probably does not like him, that can happen, you know. No, it is not because she is becoming a nun; she is not. If she were a nun that was not going to be invited to dinner parties and Romeo doesn't crash those parties in the hope of seeing her and changing his mind.
