The Mongolian Empire decided to adopt certain Chinese customs in order to keep the people happy under his rule. The mongols made the trade with China and use the Silk Route for trade, but never beleived the Chinese. The Mongol Empire adopted certain Chinese customs as in the song of the bureaucracy and many of the rituals of the Chinese court. The real thought behind the Mongol Empire on the adoption of the chinese ritual was that the people would never feel the impulse to rebellion against the Empire and they would remain happy under Mongol rule.
