Taking into account the main function of a hydraulic fluid to transfer power, the liquids are very suitable for this. This is because they are incompressible, meaning when pressure is applied, which will not be adversely affected as a gas. More over, have low volatility, which means that it does not need to be specially contained and low-foaming tendencies, the reduction of the problems caused by the air bubbles.
