Richard Feynman (1918-1988) was a famous American physicist who is known for his path integral formulation of quantum mechanics. He received the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1965. He also helped in the development of the atomic bomb and proposed the idea of nano-technology, which is the creation of machines in a very small size, usually in the molecular scale.
