You can find thousands of internet courses on the internet so finding a course is not a difficult task. The main job is to check their credibility and employer-acceptability. I am providing a list of a few popular quality it online training providers. Remember, I am using the various reviews available on the internet to compile this information. So verify them yourself before your final decision.

Obviously, your first option is the online platform edX. It brings together thousands of courses from different reputed institutions, ranging from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, the University of California, the University of Texas, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of British Columbia, RWTH Aachen University, the University of Queensland, the University of Maryland, and so on. So, this platform helps you find your best interest option easily. When I searched the term ‘system security’ on edX, I found a few courses. The first one is ‘Network Security.’ This is a fully online course that lasts 8 weeks. According to the information available, you will have to spend nearly 10-12 hours per week to complete this course in time. The beauty of this course is that you can have it totally free of cost and if you’re lucky, pay just $150 and get a verified certificate. The course is developed and delivered by Rochester Institute of Technology. According to the available information, you will learn how to identify when there are attacks in your networks, how to gather proof of network attacks, how to find out network vulnerabilities through tests, and how to protect yourself from network attacks. To know more about the course, you can use the link https://www.edx.org/course/network-security-ritx-cyber504x-0.

Another similar program that comes through the edX platform is Cyber Security Basics: a Hands-on Approach. According to the site, this 6-week course requires you to study 5-7 hours a week. Though this course is free, now, you have no option to get a verified certificate. The important things you are going to learn in this course are managing network vulnerabilities, dealing with malware and other threats, computer forensics, observing and dealing with cyber attacks, and an overview of the cybersecurity field. The course is developed and delivered by UC3M. Use the link https://www.edx.org/course/cyber-security-basics-hands-approach-uc3mx-inf-2x.

Another course available on the same platform is Cybersecurity Fundamentals. This 8-week course will help you show your credentials with a verified certificate from Rochester Institute of Technology by paying a fee of $150. The main subject areas covered in the course are network and system administration, fundamentals of information assurance like confidentiality, integrity and availability, and fundamentals of cryptography. To enroll in it, visit https://www.edx.org/course/cybersecurity-fundamentals-ritx-cyber501x-2.

Finally, if you need a professional certificate in cybersecurity from the University of Washington, join Essentials of Cybersecurity, a combination of 4 courses, totaling 16 weeks. You will have to pay $79 per course. The important areas covered in the course are basics of cybersecurity, the role of chief information security officer, developing a cybersecurity toolkit, and career pathways in the cybersecurity field. The link https://www.edx.org/professional-certificate/uwashingtonx-essentials-cybersecurity will provide you more information. As I mentioned earlier, these are just a few. You can find thousands of them on the internet offering college online classes.

I also search often for an internet course that suits my needs because when you study or work full-time, it’s very difficult to attend classes in person. Nonetheless, being too busy shouldn’t mean to have to stop learning and thanks to platforms as edX that offer credibility, I can keep studying. I can’t imagine how life was when it wasn’t possible to take a college online class. People who worked or lived too far away from college may have had to stop studying. Fortunately, our knowledge and our CV can keep growing nowadays thanks to online education.

Hi, I have been working in the field of cybersecurity since 2014. I would like to share the information that an excellent course in cyber security that suits a person like you with some related knowledge is the cybersecurity specialization from the University of Maryland. It contains five courses in total; usable security, software security, cryptography, hardware security, and cybersecurity capstone project. This course is available on the online learning platform coursera.org. The course was a great experience with the opportunity to build a secure application in the project. You will find it both challenging and fun when you get the chance to build an application that others can’t break, and the chance to try to break the application others have made. The fix-it round is really useful because you get a chance to identify the areas which you failed to take notice of and this helps you come out as a good cybersecurity specialist. I think this internet course best meets your needs.
