The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial Dynasty in China. The Qing Dynasty was a multi-cultural empire and lasted for nearly three hundred years. The Chinese Nationalist Movement which overthrew the Qing Dynasty. This dynasty formed the basis of Modern China. The Qing Dynasty was preceded by the Ming Dynasty. The empire has tripled its size under the Ming Dynasty. The population grew from 150 million people to 450 million people. There were many non-Chinese minorities incorporated within Chinese territory. They were assimilated in China. Integrated national economy was established.
