The answer is "neritic zone".The neritic zone is the best most layer of the sea that covers the world from the coasts. The neritic zone is also referred to as coastal waters, since it is in the shallow waters near the drift. The neritic zone extends from the surface of the water to around 200 feet below ground, where the bottom of the ocean or continent rack, sits. As the depths of the ocean spreads away from the shore, inevitably the continent rack falls, making much deeper waters, and propitiating the vast sea. The neritic zone only occurs before the continental shelf falls off.
