The answer is a. The best type of graph is used to analyze quantitative IVs and DVs is a line chart. Given that the line graph shows patterns and relationships, this would be an effective presentation of the IV and DV. When we are able to show their relationship, then we may be able to examine the causality. The rest of the other graphics don't have that feature.
