The correct option is; the light and dark reactions of Photosynthesis is a chemical process by which plants and other photoautotrophs generate carbohydrates and oxygen from carbon dioxide, water, using light energy in chloroplasts. During the process of photosynthesis, the light and the dark reactions takes place in the chloroplast. The light reactions depend on the light to produce organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH) that are stimulated by the chlorophyll (pigment of green colour), while the dark reactions light-independent.
