I think that the stem cells that are capable of the most limited differentiation of embryonic stem cells. Embryonic stem cells are pluripotent (meaning they are able to grow and differentiate) the stem cells derived from the inner cell mass of the blastocyst, an early stage, prior to implantation of the embryo. These stem cells are able to grow into all derivatives of the three germ layers: ectoderm, endoderm, and mesoderm.
