Answer D is correct. When you mow the lawn with a petrol mower, you are releasing harmful emissions of nitrogen oxide into the air as pollution. This in turn contributes to global warming and damage the atmosphere. In contrast, the use of animal waste as fertilizer and compost fruit peels both are beneficial to the environment and the earth. While throwing paint cans in the trash is less environmentally friendly than recycling, mowing the lawn with a gas mower is still more detrimental.
