The answer is written that it is not intended to carry literal meaning.Imagery means to use figurative language to represent objects, actions and ideas in such a way that appeals to our physical senses. It is generally believed that the imagery makes use of particular words that create a visual representation of the ideas in our mind. The word "images" and is associated with mental images.
