The following statement about the sample size of an experiment is not accurate: C. A smaller sample size increases the generalizability of a study.A sample is a group of the population that is selected for an experiment. Therefore, the choice of an appropriate sample is very important before performing an experiment. However, the sample size affects the conclusions. The smallest is the size of the sample with the least diversity that exists within the sample. Having a smaller sample size can easily lead to skewed results that in the end it does not reflect the behavior of the majority of the population. That is why having a smaller sample size decreases the generalizability of a study.
