Well, here we go, 1. y = 3x + 3/4 ==> 3x - y = -3/4 ==> -6x + 2y = 3/2 (-2 times ) D. 6x + 2y = 3/2 <--- answer 2. 3y = 2x – 9 y = 3/2x – 4.5 ANSWER ==> 2y = 3x - 9 (2 times) ==> 3x - 2y = 9 <----- 3.Which is the approximate solution of the system y = 0.5 x + 3.5 and y = -2/3x + 1/3 of the sample in the graph? well, as I don't have the graphics tool, we're going to settle, it is very easy : -2/3x + 1/3 = x/2 + 7/2 ==> -4/3x + 2/3 = x+ 7 ==> -4x + 2 = 3x + 21 ==> -19 = 7x ==> x = -19/7 x # -2.7 y = 0.5 x + 3.5 # 2.14 4. y = 2/5 x – 5 ==> 5/2y = x - 25/2 (times, 5/2) ==> x - /2 = 25/2 x -5/2 and y = 25/2 <--- ANSWER 5. y = – 3 y = x – 0.8 hence : x = -3 + 0.8 = -2.2 (-2.2, -3) <--- response (in addition, there is an approx but the EXACT solution ! ) et voilà !! ;-) I hope that help you !!
