You could more easily determine which of the 4 possible answers which satisfy the equation 16x^2 + 32x - 9 subst. each one in the function.What about x= -1.25? Is that a zero? 16(-5/4)^2 + 32(-1.25) - 9 = 24, so x = -5/4 is not a zero.Continue: take a look at each of the three possible answers.
