The Pineal gland is the one resposinle for the release of melatonin. The pineal gland is an endocrine gland that I, the brain and its main functions include regulation of the body of reproductive hormones and the release of melatonin, which in turn facilitates the natural flow of the circadian rhythm in the body. These are very important functions.
