The quakers had their own colony of Pennsylvania, and often settled in Rhode Island, but were persecuted in Massachusetts therefore C and they are wrong. The Puritans settled mainly in New England, so the correct answer is D. For example, the Colony of the Massachusetts Bay and Connecticut were to a large degree established by the Puritans.
