In regards to the question, the option "1" is correct option. When the propane is burned to complete combustion, results in the the formation of two completely different substances. That in fact is a mix of water vapor and carbon dioxide. When NaCl or sodium chloride is molten, does not result in the formation of any new substance and so the option "2" cannot be be the correct answer. With respect to the deposition of carbon dioxide and solidification of water, no new substance is formed and hence can be neglected as the answer to the question.
