The answer is Cs, not. 2. Caesium (Cs) is an element that has one electron more external with the majority of the energy in the state of the soil. The Cesium (Cs), Lithium (Li), Potassium (K) and Sodium (Na) are elements that belong to group 1 of the family, the the alkaline metals. Each has a valance of 1, and wants to release/ lose this e- (electrons) to be isoelectronic with the noble gas nearest to you. Based on the periodic trends an atom radii will lift that goes down a group.
