If you mean the "stick in your craw' the phrase is of obscure origin. Craw can mean the crop of a bird or the stomach of an animal. There is an old English word 'crawe", that can refer to the throat or awareness. This word in English may have been adopted from an earlier word 'craeg', possibly the meaning of the throat
