Where can you get fresh updates of the AIE Conference?

I’ve registered for the AIE Conference ages ago and the time is coming. I’d like to get a source of news and updates of the conference to see what is planned for it and what changes have been made. What’s the final lineup of the Conference USA speakers? What topics will be featured? Also, I’d like to know whether the Conference registration is still open to bring my friend with me.

Well, this is a USA conference, so, there’ll be many local speakers from various states. Personally, I don’t know most of them, though some names are known even outside of the educational world. Such guests include

Pedro Noguera. He’s a professor at UCLA with a perfect reputation even outside of the university. His work focuses on the influence of social and economic conditions of the learning process. The man received countless awards for his work and contribution to the education system of the country.

Moreover, Noguera has written 11 books and even more articles and monographs. Such accomplishes cannot go unnoticed in any sphere. This year at the AIE Conference, he’s going to participate in a live interview and answer questions concerning his work and research. I suggest watching a few of his speeches on YouTube to get a grasp on the topic.

Another key speaker of the event is Zaretta Hammond. She’s a national education consultant whatever it means. Have you ever seen a work titled Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain: Promoting Authentic Engagement and Rigor for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students? She’s the author. I’ve read t before and am very interested to see what she’ll dwell upon in her interview.

Other two names are Hamish Brewer and Michael Bonner. The first one is a Title I Principle and the second is just an elementary teacher. Those they seem to be very different, their education goals and, to some extent approach, are similar. Their speeches should also be inspirational. Advancing Investment in Education has chosen great in bringing men of different positions into one conference.
As for the news and updates, you can easily see them in an AIE app that you can download both for Android and iOS. All news get published there. Besides, you’ll be able to see those sessions that you miss right in the app.

Also, you may want to stick to the official website of the conference where there’s a blog with hot topics and all information necessary for attendance.

As for your friend, they can still register for the conference.

An important remark about conference registration. If you decide to cancel a workshop registration, you must do it at least 5 business days before the conference.

You can also get a workshop certificate if you enter your registration account and complete a provided survey. The certificate will be issued almost immediately and you’ll be able to see it in My Transcript tab. This is an important part that a few people know about. Why not get an additional certificate that adds up a few points of professionalism to your portfolio?

The official website is a great source of information as it’s 100% reliable. But you’ve forgotten to provide a link for a person to get there without trouble. Here it is -  I hope it helps to prepare for the conference. Also, you can check the AIE schedule there.

I also suggest taking a look at AIE social media for the updates. As for the main rules and schedules, they are all on the website. Yet, it’s meant for the most important information and a lot of minor news that an attendant would be interested in aren’t featured there. The same can be said about the blog that has many interesting articles but hardly any room for a short message.

As for the Conference registration, it’ll be open until the last minute, so you don’t have to worry about your friend.
