The love and attachment they were both there, but the best word to describe their relationship according to me would be C. Attached. Buck killed the Indians because they killed John, that' the revenge of agreement with us. There is No revenge, in friendship, in love but I'm saying C. because, in love and friendship, theoretically, not necessarily to kill someone, but when you are attached to something, that could certainly. For an animal, the love and the friendship or trust doesn't mean anything. For them it is only the attachment. Many suggest that it is A. the Love, but it is my personal opinion. You could go with any of them.
