The correct answer is a:the establishment of a League of Nations. Wilson expects an organization to foster communication and cooperation among the nations, so that they could exchange ideas more openly and decrease the idea that other nations are secretly plotting against one another. The disaster of the first World War was caused in large part by a serious lack of trust and communication between the nations of Europe at that time. Wilson hoped that the League of Nations to prevent such a tragedy from happening again and includes this idea in his Fourteen Points at the conclusion of the war.
