For me, personally, a general lack of religion is right. I'm technically agnostic due to my open mind to the idea of a Higher Power, but if it is absolutely real is yet to be seen. Even if there is a god, I doubt I belongs to any religion in particular. Now, Organized Religion is useless, counter-productive, and promotes a general lack of logic on the part of the parishioners. Cause too many problems for the scientific community due to its blatant opposition to certain types of research conducted; For example, stem cell research and Human Genetic Engineering (two technologies essential for the establishment of the great diffusion of transhumanism) have opposite and very restricted by the religious (mostly Christian) lobbying against it. Religion also opposes to the government's initiatives to give equal rights to minortiy communities, such as the LGBT (lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transsexual) community, that is bigotry and counter-productive. Therefore, the religion is Not right for me.
