The option that is loking is the number 1 option. The people were in an optimistic mood, and who were willing to take a risk. We know this because the people feel well after the first world war I. Inflation was low, while at the same time the real income and production have been increasing at over 3% per year. Things like these, are factors that help to see that option 1 is the correct one.
