Answer:-A little bed cause of the majority of frictionExplanation:- the channel of A river is the channel of the bottom of a body of water such as a river. The speed of the current is greatest in midstream near the surface and is slowest along the stream bed and banks due to friction. The greater the cross-sectional area compared to the perimeter, the current will be more freely since less of the water in the stream is located in close proximity to the friction of the bed. Therefore, a deep bed would cause the most friction having the smallest cross-sectional area.
