The correct answer is the letter A. The Craton is the oldest and most stable part of a continent. Comes from the Greek word "kratos" which means force. It has survived many cycles of merging and rifting of continents, and it is now usually found within the interiors of tectonic plates. Are composed by a basement of rocks that were made out of the old crystal that is possibly covered by younger sedimentary rock.
