In the cumulative GPA AP/Honor/Pre-ap classes are not weighted as harder classes. Therefore, if I had a total of 89 in AP Chem, regular chem student with a 90 would have a higher GPA. In GPA, you are AP/Honors/Pre-ap classes are weighted. So the 89 would be considered to be a 109. The AP classes are weighed 20 more points, and pre-ap classes are weighted as 10 points more.
