The exact title varies from school to school, but it is usually something like "Astronomy". In most universities, it is part of, or related to, the department of Physics. If you are talking about the courses they should take in high school to prepare for a specialization in astronomy in college: as much science and math as they can cram in. At least the Physical, and if your high school offers math classes do not take the best thing is that they have names like "Elemental Consumer Mathematics." (That's not really going to call a class of "a minimum of math you can take and still graduate", but those types of classes). You want a minimum of four years of math, including at least precalculus.
