The correct sequence is the following: stimulus --> emotion And physiological changesThis calls for a simultaneous sequence. Keep in mind that Cannon and Bard suggested emotion and physiology occur simultaneously. That is scientificaly proven that by saying that the emotional expression of the results of the function of hypothalamic structures, and emotional feeling results from stimulation of the dorsal part of the thalamus.
