There are a wide variety of detergents that can be used for cleaning surfaces, however, the right choice depends on the situation and of the surface to be cleaned. For the fat of the burn spots, one must employ the use of cleaning solvents, since they have the ability to interact with surfactants without changing them or the solvent itself. Solvents such as this can include acetone, chloroform and ethanol. The majority of these are alcohol-based and are used every day at home.
