If you took the cheapest route - three years of undergraduate at a community/state college then four years at your state school of veterinary medicine, here is the breakdown: Undergraduate: $10,000 a year, for three years of veterinary school tuition: $25,000 per year, times four years of Books and materials: $1,000 per year, times seven years, Without room and board, activity fees, expenses, so, you're looking at a minimum of $137,000. The majority of vet students have at least $150,000 in student debt at graduation.
