We don't know for sure but what happens in the fourth book, however, we assume that Eragon will battle Galbatorix in it. The "Inheritance" could possibly be one of Brom's possessions as his sword. I think that the last book will end like this: 1) Eragon killing Galbatorix (as said above). 2) Murtagh turning good and sacrificing his life for Eragon. 3) Arya becoming the Rider of the last green dragon. 4) Arya's dragon mating Saphira and Arya falling in love with Eragon. Of course it could end differently. On another site I read that Brom will somehow be brought back to life in a very unexpected and that Eragon the prophecy will be fulfilled. It also said that Eragon will kill a captive (he says he would not do that in book 3) and that more will be revealed about Angela. Solembum, the werecat told Eragon "When all seems lost and your power is insufficient, go to the rock of Kuthian and speak his name to the chapel of the Souls." I think I may have Eldunarà on the inside. Before Brom died he whispered seven words in the ancient language into Eragon's ear and explained there meaning. He said to use in times of great need. From Eragon never used this and not mentioned again, I'm thinking that you will use it when defeating Galbatorix.
