Muslim men may date, even marry, a non-Muslim woman, but not the other way around. The assumption is that since men are so dominant over women, the Muslim men will not be drawn away from the faith by which the weaker woman. A Muslim woman, however, would be easy prey of the greater spirit of the male non-believer.
