Nazi Germany practiced ethnic nationalism, or also known as ethno-nationalism. This form of nationalism of the states of the nation (the community) exists in the first place, and the state is created around you, and to serve. Ethnic nationalism explains a large part of the violence in European history, in particular, against groups like the Jews.
