I personally use a lot of print statements or print to a file. Every time there's an error that I can not understand, I print a lot of information or try to find out where the program short. In general, you can reduce very quickly. Then, if you need to, you can cut out the statement of the problem in parts. For example, if I have something like i = shift(split(',',j)), Then, I would split it into a series of variables for the test. print "test0"; i = split(',',j) print "test1" k = shift(I) I would like to know if people have better suggestions. It works for me.
