The mosaic of Emperor Justinian and his court is one of the most famous images of the Middle Ages that represent the politicians authority in the church of the sanctuary of San Vitale in Ravenna, Italy.To one side from the representation of the Emperor Justinian of political power, the mosaic is also a visual testament of Justinian the reign of the great ambitions that are heir of the tradition of the Roman Emperors, and to restore the territorial boundaries of the Roman Empire.Justinian it is a Christian Emperor for what it is considering the possibility of his self as a defender of the faith with the aim of creating uniformity of religion in all the Empire.
