It is really PEMDAS. P is for parentheses. E is for exponents. M is for multiplication. D is the division. A is for Addition. S is for subtraction.Here's an example that includes all of these:(6-2)2x4/2+6-4P first.(6-2) = 4(4)2x4/2+6-4Now E.(4)2 = 1616x4/2+6-4Then M. 16x4 = 6464/2+6-4Next is D. 64/2 = 3232+6-4Now A. 32+6 = 3838-4-and finally, (S. 38 to 4 = 34.I hope this helped
