What does extreme caution mean for the F index in the BASC-2?

Usually this means that the respondent answered key questions in an overly negative fashion to an excessive degree. Caution can identify those cases in which a parent or teacher is trying to portray the child in a very negative fashion. However, in some cases, the child actually is displaying negative behaviors "almost always" or positive behaviors "never". Generally I tend to interpret Caution or Extreme Caution in the F index significant frustration on the part of the respondent in relation to the child on a daily basis. I'm not totally discount the ratings because the level of frustration that derives from something. (MORE)
