The iconic Marilyn Diptych is one of the most influential works of art in history. It consists of 50 identical to the advertising pictures of Marilyn Monroe in the film Niagara, arranged in a diptych, a style used in the religious imagery. There are many interpretations of this piece, but the most common is the "celebrity is more of an icon in the culture of the masses".
