A paralegal career is a good option for those interested in grammar,legal terminology, writing, listening, data analysis, research,and writing of documents, and continuous learning. According to the Bureauof Labor Statistics, the median salary for paralegals and legalassistants was $46,680 a year in 2010. Legal assistants are employed invarious organizations, such as law firms, Corporate legaldepartments and Government agencies. Organizations need to specializedemployees to help lawyers prepare for hearings, trials, andcorporate meetings. These employees perform a variety of tasks fromconducting of the legal research for the drafting of documents. From theseinvaluable employees are required to keep legal costs down, thegrowth outlook is this field is good.
