Thus, in chemistry it refers to a step of a whole reaction that will take more time and therefore limits the speed at which the entire process can take place. It is also referred to as the Rate-Determining Step. You can also be the slowest enzyme in a sequence that controls the speed of the whole process. I also remember that, for some reason, learning about the limiting reagent is the reagent that will execute first and cause the reaction to cease. I hope this helps
