The compound name that belongs to the box[1] is known as Sodium chloride. Is common salt. Before going to answer the second question, we must first understand ionic and covalent bond. The ionic bond is formed between metals electropositive and electronegative non-metal. In this type of bond, the electropositive metal loses electrons and forms cations where electronegative element accpert electrons to form anions. The cations and anions are attracted to one another to form a compound. The covalent bond is a type of bond in which sharing of electrons are produced to satisfy the octet paper which will result in the stability of the compound. Therefore the correct answer to the second question will be covalent.
