Quadratic function in mathematics is of the form ax^2 + bx + c = 0, where "a", "b" and "c" are just numbers; they are the "numerical coefficients" of the quadratic equation. When we compare this form with the x^2-3x-2=0, we obtain that a=1, b=-3 and c=-2.
