silver nitrate AgNO3 potassium bromide is KBr, Each ion has a charge if +ve or ve. AgNO3(aq) + KBr(aq) = AgBr(s) + KNO3(aq) AgBr is insoluble in water so precipitates. The potassium nitrate is soluble so it stays in solution, and which can also be written as K+(aq) + NO3-(aq)
